2D Finite Element Analysis of Asynchronous Machine Influenced Under Power Quality Perturbations

Asynchronous machines are predominantly preferred in industrial sectors for its reliability. Power quality perturbations have a greater impact on industries; among the different power events, voltage fluctuations most common and that may cause adverse effect machine's operation since they longer enduring. The article discusses numerical technique evaluating asynchronous motors while taking into account magnetic saturation, losses, leakage flux, drop. A 2D linear analysis involving multi-slice time stepping finite element model is used to predict end effects. As an outcome, saturation losses estimated using modified nonlinear time-stepping formulation. method takes electromagnetic fields at ends of motor limited computer resources. proposed will greatly reduce computation with resources analyzing performance high precision. analyzed findings assist preventing variance issues network system provide suggestions developing robust system.
